At the beginning of the year the elementary art classes create portfolios. For those new to the artsy side of ACS, the elementary kids draw, paint, print and sculpt almost every week. This produces upwards of 35-40 pcs of artwork to keep up with. To prevent sending something home each week and in and effort to help parents save those treasured pieces, the portfolio for elementary was created. This idea is not original with me, Mrs. Stephens had these in place prior to me and it is a fabulous idea! Be on the lookout for pictures of our portfolios.
